Improve your conscious contact….
The 11th Step Spiritual Retreat is an annual event held at the beautiful St. Meinrad Monastery in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana.
The retreat will be facilitated by Dave M., a warm and entertaining retreat leader. The theme of the retreat is “Abandon Yourself to God,” with an in-depth exploration of Step 11. Quotes from the Big Book, St. Francis of Assisi, Bill W., Dr. Bob, Br. Lawrence and St. Augustine, along with insights from the “other Big Book,” will be shared. There will be stories, humor, sharing, and feedback, as well as meditation, yoga, music, and fellowship.
The emphasis is on turning one’s will and life over to the care of God as you understand him/her, and on improving one’s conscious contact with God. Perhaps this self-overhaul will leave you feeling like “there are no more big deals.” You will discover much fuel to nourish your soul by attending this retreat.
All faiths are welcome. The retreat is non-denominational, ecumenical, and spiritual rather than specifically religious. This is NOT an AA, Alanon, NA, SA, GA , any other A. Nor is this a religious event sanctioned by the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu or any other organized religion. All of God’s children are welcome.
Sponsored by Visitation at 8, AA Group (82nd and Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, In)
